Machine Gun Unicorn is five reels and ten pay-lines video slot powered by Genesis Gaming inspired by Unicorns who are in a battle with evil zombies.
Sounds weird, right?
The transparent reels are set in some fairytale world. The soundtrack playing in the background is somewhat confusing, and players will probably want to turn it off.
Before players join this battle and begin helping the outnumbered unicorns, they should adjust their settings.
The Lines number is fixed, and by clicking on “Bet” arrows, players will set the coins size range.
“Spin” is used to spin the reels with the current total wager.
“Autoplay” is for lazier will spin the reels without interruption for a select number of times.
The “Turbo” option increases the speed of Gameplay once players switch it on.
The Machine Gun Unicorn is the Wild icon in the game, and it can replace all the icons to form a winning combination. Furthermore, this symbol will also activate a unique feature.
Machine Gun Unicorn has a unique feature called the Symbol Bombs feature. When players land the Machine Gun Unicorn on the third reel, they will trigger this round.
If players manage to hit it at the same time on the reels as zombie’s heads in jars, they will watch the unicorn destroy them with its weapon. For each jar players smash, they will be bestowed a cash prize, and the more jars are on the reels, the more their value will increase. If there are no jars when the unicorn lands, players will receive a small reward nevertheless.
There is a lot to recommend Machine Gun Unicorn to both newbies and more hardcore players. The background is engaging and fun, backed by creative graphics and innovative animations.
Machine Gun Unicorn is not the most bountiful game around when it comes to payouts, and the complete absence of the scatter icon eliminates some of the money-making potential. The lack of free spins or re-spins round will also come as a massive blow to many high-rolling players.
Symbol Bombs is a unique addition, though, and it can produce some decent rewards when everything falls into place. However, to only have one winning opportunity outside of the main game is a bit of a letdown.
That said, the overall playability of Machine Gun Unicorn is high, and that will be enough to entice plenty of players to the game.
