Microgaming brings us this slightly confused Adventure Palace video slot, that talks of palaces but doesn’t really have much to do with them. It does however, have nice imagery and some pretty cool animations when the features kick in. The soundtrack is subdued during spins and at rest but has a cacophony of animal noises to accompany wins.
A 5x3 slot with a very lean 9 paylines, it doesn’t have huge wins, but does have the ability to payout up to 10,000 coins on one single bet. Throw in the free spins feature and you have a game that has decent potential, with an RTP of 98.71%. Playable over all devices and screen sizes.
What’s to see?
The graphics are nice and crisp, if a little unadventurous – ironic given the name. High value symbols found here consist of an elephant (the wild), a cobra, a peacock, birds, apes and a Tiger. Low value symbols are the standard playing card icons of ace, king, queen, jack, ten and nine.
The wild will double payouts on all winning combinations. The scatter in this slot is the jungle palace (finally making an appearance) and is attached to a multiplier. Get two to five and get 2x, 5x, 20x and 500x your total bet respectively.
What does it do?
Adventure Palace has several bonus features including free spins with a triple win multiplier, wilds that double wins and a gamble feature that allows players to gamble their winnings for a chance to quadruple them.
The free spins game is triggered by getting at least three scatters. When they appear, you’ll get 15 free spins, plus triple wins which can be retriggered. Get five wild elephant symbols and you’ll hit the jackpot which pays 10,000 coins, amounting to as much as 50,000 EUR or equivalent.
Coupled with the free spin’s bonus that prize can go through the roof, to a massive 30,000 coins, 150,000 EUR or equivalent. The free spins replace the mini bonus game in this slot. If this is all too exciting, tipping you over the edge, give yourself a push with the gamble feature; guess the card colour to double or quadruple your winnings – or lose the lot of course, disclaimer.
Give this slot a go if you’re in the market for a jungle-based game, just don’t get too disappointed when you realise it’s more about jungles than palaces, we – unfortunately – were. Wins-wise they seem frequent and that RTP of 98.71% is not at all bad; we made on it every single time we played, so it can’t be that bad. There are loads of little hidden gems feature wise, and if it’s just for the element of surprise, we’d give this one a big thumbs up.
