It’s a world on the brink. Climate change and social collapse are evermore present in everyday narrative, and consumerism and the worship of things ever present. But there is a way to change things, by recycling. Anyway, to the game in hand… Sorry, did you think that was the beginning of the review? Well it kind of is, but not too, if you get us.
The goal of the game Incinerator is to turn space rubbish (as opposed to our rubbish, which technically space rubbish is to, so… ) into money! Yay! Thought he was never going to get to that bit! Yggdrasil are producing some top games at the moment, and the Swedish powerhouse of gaming has done it again, with this socially curious offering.
Presented over a 5 x 3 setup with a modesty 20 paylines, this game gives new life to old space rubbish, with big wins for you in the pipeline. Space debris is a forgotten nuisance that needs dealing with, and the Incinerator is here to do just that. Attention grabbing cascading reels add plenty of extra bonus wilds over the reels and you can get started from between 0.20 EUR and 50 EUR or equivalent per spin.
The symbols and what they’re good for
These reels don’t spin, they are populated from above, with the symbols falling onto the reels. There are six different symbols in the assortment, with the top payer being the blue and yellow wheel-like symbol , allowing you to net a payout of 200 coins should you get five over a payline. A wealth of winning combinations possible beefs up this seemingly stingy value overall. The game has a standard wild that substitutes for all other symbols to form wins.
After spins that bring wins the symbols will be blasted away, giving rise to a new set of symbols from above and of course a further chance to bag a win on that same winning spin. Here it gets interesting, because as long as the game finds a winning combination in the new set of symbols it will continue to play, although the probability gets lower each ‘spin’ it is exciting to think it can happen.
A cascade of treats from trash
There is no expanding multiplier with this slot, which is quite out of character for cascading slot games with successive cascades. To make up for this glaring omission the adds extra wilds to the mix. Three successive winning cascades in a row will turn a group of symbols into wilds, and the whole process can be monitored to the left of the reels.
Get three more wins and the process is repeated, with the more cascade wins you get bringing increasing attractive wild offerings. If things really get going you’ll see some serious gain should you hot the six wilds mark - and it’s totally doable.
The action within this game starts from the off, with the base game arguably being the most exciting stage of the slot. Low variance takes the shine off a little, but a few good runs on those cascades will soon tip the balance and take the whole experience to a satisfactory level.
Like actual junk, space junk is equally unsexy, also in Incinerator. But like actual junk, the benefits of spending some time dealing with it can bring untold improvements to overall quality of life for us all. There’s money in junk, there always has been. When this fact is realised we might all be on the way to giving a much needed boost to both our planet and your Bitcasino balance, whichever is most important to you.
