Powered by Microgaming, Dragon Shard has five reels and forty paylines. This is a fantasy-themed slot that is bound to introduce players to the alternate world of magic and mystery, filled powerful heroes and elemental dragons.
Playing Dragon Shard
The Fire Queen’s and the Ice King’s battle is eternal, but players should adjust their bets before spinning the reels, and maybe they can help end the war between the two.
On the left-hand side, players will see the Win Booster button that they can switch on or off.
On the right-hand side from the reels, players will see the Coin Stack button, fourth from the top down. Once players click it, it will open a betting panel that will help adjust their bets.
The first button on that right-hand slider will help players set the speed of the spinning reels.
Next one is the Circular Arrows button, that will open a separate panel where players will get to choose the number of automated, uninterrupted spins.
Third from the top down and the biggest is the Spin button that will help turn the reels once the bets have been finally set.
Features of Dragon Shard
Fire Queen and Ice King are high paying icons that can appear stacked on the reels and can cover the entire reel. On the other hand, the Wild icon is the game logo and can replace all other symbols in the game, excluding the Scatter.
Win Booster is probably one thing players had rare occasions of crossing paths with. When this is turned on, players will trigger a high probability of landing mystery icons and increasing paylines. When on, the mystery icons will appear super stacked and reveal Wilds or higher-paying symbols.
Should players be able to land three or more of the Scatter symbols anywhere on the reels, they will activate the bonus round with ten spins and mystery reels on the second, third or fourth reels. Mystery Reels contain only mystery icons, and the number of activated mystery reels will depend on the number of triggering scatter icons. Consequently, players can win anywhere between one and three mystery reels during the round. If players manage to land any other scatters during the function, they will be awarded one spin for each scatter.
Dragon Shard has beautiful graphics and plays pretty decently. However, it is nothing too spectacular and is pretty basic, to be honest. Though, if players prefer this kind of theme, then it is unlikely to disappoint.
