Crafted by Betsoft, Boomanji is a five reel slot with three rows and up to ten paylines. Set against transparent reels players can just about make out stars twinkling in the dark night sky – clearly, the game is intent on entertaining players with exploding fireworks into the silent void. To compliment this game, there are some odd, cartoonish audios which only add to the sparky atmosphere.
How to play Boomanji
Before players set off a whole host of fireworks, they should begin by adjusting their game settings.
Use the “Choose Coin” meter to select the coin denomination. Players can adjust the number of coins per line with the “Bet Per Line” menu. Whilst players can determine the number of active paylines, it is recommended to play all ten due to the game's expanding wild feature. When players are ready to begin, they press either hit Spin or Max Bet Spin.
If players get a parallel combination from left-to-right or right-to-left, they'll win the amount shown in the Boomanji paytable. The game's feature round occurs if players get a Wild Crate of Fireworks. The feature will then expand across the entire reel, and if there are any winning combinations formed, players will get a free respin with the wild (or wilds) held in place in other words, they become sticky.
Symbols in Boomanji
There are seven high-value symbols, and they represent different fireworks; some have apt names like Turbo Bomb, Boom, Mega Boom and Ka-Pow and the rest are various attractive colours. The critical thing to note is that winning combinations can be formed from right to left plus left to right for double the firework fun.
Sadly, there is no scatter symbol but the wild is a crate fill of assorted fireworks, and it’s also a vital part of the feature rounds.
Bonus Features in Boomanji
Boomanji is not packed with bonus rounds, but it does have the expanding wild which appears regularly.
Every time players land one of the wild symbols on the second, third or fourth reel the wild will extend to fill all vertical positions on that reel. Any wins will be paid, and then players will receive one more free spin with the wild reel frozen in place. Players can get up to three respins in total if wilds land on the other two reels during the same process.
Boomanji may not have many bonus features, but that doesn’t matter at all – this is a superb-looking game with some great animations and sound effects and an expanding wild element which can be very lucrative.
