Pinocchio has five reels with three rows and up to fifteen paylines all set in inside Geppetto’s carpentry workshop where the craftsman produces his creation – Pinocchio, who located on either side of the reels.
There are two principal characters featured in the Pinocchio game with the man of the title Pinocchio himself and his impoverished woodcutter father, Mister Geppetto. Both appear in various guises as icons on the reels, whilst other slots icons include a variety of Geppeto’s creations including a sledge and a clock.
How to play Pinocchio
Before joining the most recognised wooden boy in the storytelling world on his adventures, players should adjust their settings.
To determine the number of active paylines, players should click “Select Lines.”
“Choose Coin” revises the coin value ranges.
“Bet Per Line” adds more coins to the payline.
“Max Bet” spins the reels at the highest possible bet.
“Spin” begins the game and gets the reels spinning.
“Autoplay” automatically spins the reels without interruption for a limited period.
Should players wish to boost their winnings, they can click on the “Double Up” button after each win. Players need to correctly guess whether the coin is going to land on tails or heads. Guessing correctly will double the amount the player had staked. Guessing incorrectly will forfeit, and the round is over.
Symbols in Pinocchio
The high-value icons are a wood plane, a cuckoo clock, a caged creature, a poster for The Great Stromboli and two versions of Pinocchio, one being the wooden version, and the other the real boy. Ten, Jack, Queen, King and Ace make up the lower-value symbols.
Special symbols in Pinocchio are the carpenter Geppetto, a traditional caravan, a pile of books and of course Pinocchio himself.
Bonus features of Pinocchio
Real Boy Mode
Some Pinocchio icons contain a smaller symbol in the corner; collecting five of those will allow players to complete the Real Boy/Wood Boy mode overhead the reels. This is where Pinocchio becomes real, and each of those icons turns wild during this bonus round, continuing until players have collected five small Pinocchio symbols and return to the Wood Boy mode.
Fairy Awesome Respins
If players have a possibility of a five icon combination but they are missing a symbol on the first, second or third reel there is a possibility that the fairy will arrive and offer players a free respin to help make that winning combination.
When players start the game they are in Geppetto’s workshop; however, once they have collected enough of the scatter symbols, players are taken to several alternative worlds where they can obtain some more free spins.
Primary World: Geppetto’s Workshop – is the primary game, and if they can land Geppetto himself on the third reel he will become wild; where he will move to the left with every free spin until he drops off the left-hand side.
Secondary World: The Classroom – landing the book scatter icon on the second, third and fourth reels and collecting ten to fill the meter located at the top right-hand corner will give players eight free spins. However, these will only decrease on non-winning spins. A book that falls the first, third and fifth reels will act as a wild feature.
Secondary World: The Stage – when the caravan scatter falls, this will collect ten and fill up the metre located in the top left-hand corner. Players then head to this area for eight free spins. Landing the caravan on the first, third and fifth reels creates a wild that remains in place for five respins.
Pinocchio is a beautiful slot experience that almost punches above its weight with the alternative world scenarios. Don't be put off by the childish nature of the game's theme - once the meters begin to be filled the prizes start to roll in making Pinocchio a game every punter should play.
