Wolf Quest is a fifty-payline video slot that is powered by GameArt. As you have probably guessed, the theme is packed with wolves, and although werewolves are explicitly implied, the wolf-moon aspect is evident within the game.
Sound effects in Wolf Quest are nothing spectacular. When players hit a win, they will notice the ringing of a cash register, and during spins, they will be able to hear the distant sound of wolves howling. There is also a sort of tribal audio featuring panpipes, where a lively celebratory tune will play if players hit a ‘mega win’;' and subsequently golden coins burst from the Spin panel in the centre.
Symbols in Wolf Quest
In the primary game, players are merely looking to locate matching combinations of three, four or five icons – although some symbols award a small pay-out for only two that fall. The Wolf Quest reel grid contains twenty icons. Across the five reels and four rows, players are able to scan for matching combinations of icons on reels that are adjacent to each other, going from left to right. Since the fifty pay-lines are fixed, there are plenty of lines that players are able to land winning combinations.
Symbols range from a trio of tribal shields, a severe-looking owl, a pair of wolves, an image of a wolf howling at the moon, a wolf paw icon, an eagle and a bonfire raging on the plain.
How to play Wolf Quest
Before players descend into the moonlike darkness, they should adjust their settings and regulate their bet first.
“Bet Per Line” button adjusts the coin denomination ranges.
“Spin” button initiates the game and subsequently begins to spin the reels in motion.
“Autoplay” will automatically spin the reels for several times without any interruption.
To collect any winnings and leave the gamble round, players can press “Take”.
Players are entitled to ten free spins when they uncover three wolf paw icons on the first, second or third reels simultaneously. Not only that, but players will win fifty credits. After each subsequent free spin, a moon wild icon is added to the second, third, fourth and fifth reels until the feature terminates. The bonus feature can be re-triggered only once during free spins, awarding an additional five free spins.
The moon wild, also replaces all other icons except the scatter symbols (Paw Print symbol) during the original gameplay. It does not have any values per se when on the game's pay table.
For those players who are never satisfied with their win amount, they can play the gamble round, that gives players the opportunity to multiply their win amount by two.
To gamble any win, merely approve the Gamble mode at the beginning, then opt-in on a gamble after each line win. All players need to do is decide whether the face-down card on the table is black or red. The bet is doubled if players choice is correct, and the amount is forfeited if it’s incorrect. Winnings can be gambled up to five times before the round closes.
Wolf Quest unquestionably merits a go from punters. The atmospheric wolf-themed slot is both visually striking and potentially rewarding, particularly when players consider the incremental wilds during the free spins round.
